Nkrumah was the first to use Ghana in the Gold Coast. He founded Ghana National College for students who were dismissed for taking part is protest march during the 1948 positive action.
Ghana is derived from Arabic and was the title of the Ruler of Old Ghana Empire before the Muslim Invasion.
The historian makes sense. How could Danquah have thought of a name for the country when he was busy telling the colonial powers and his friends that the Gold Coast wasn't ready for independence?
This historian is really educating us. Nine years before independence that school had its name. This seals all arguments from these npp crooks. I feel sorry for Ghana

This historian is bias with facts n lack emotional intelligence when commenting on issues. To me, nkruman never never founded my forefathers Ghana that is older than himself nkruman.
