No one is saying that such a system doesn't exist somewhere. In UK as you have referenced to, such a system thrieves because their address system works perfectly. Their credit data system also works perfectly. If you take the phone and you default in payment, you spoil your credit bcos it goes into their data base and no store, institutions or whatever will give you credit again, so you dont play with their system. Over here in Ghana people borrow from Mtn, throw their chip away and go for another one, thereby refusing to pay back the money borrowed. The system is not able to track them bcos of lack of proper address system and credit rating data base. How then can you practice what NPP is advocating over here. Which telco company will be willing to practise this system or the government is going to waste the taxpayers money once again on it. Take it as a mere campaign promise , just to beat gullible minds like you. The UK has efficient transport system(eg Transport of London), why dont they promise to do same here. I think that will be beneficial to Ghanaians than the phones. Ghanaians deserve better.
