It is sad that Nkrumah’s legacy has become political issue due to the selfishness of the NPP government. Every African and people around the world are aware of Nkrumah’s leadership during independence. He spearheaded Africa’s independence and all those who are trying to change history to fit their political narratives must bow down in shame. Ghanaians will never allow this to happen. Furthermore, there will be serious investigations into this administration’s 8 years in office. Ghanaians will never accept anything less. There are very serious crimes committed and the criminals must be ready to face justice. Justice they will get.

The other members were against it especially Paa Willie. When Nkrumah became member as secretary he became the British government informant. Also according to Professor L H Ofosu Appiah, Dr Danquah 's biographer, the UGCC heard that they were going to arrest eight but six were arrested and detained because there was not enough room on the plane for R S Blay and James Quist - Thelson.Please see page 59 The life and times of J B Danquah by L H Ofosu Appiah. When the six were arrested, they were first flown to the Kumasi prison. There, the Ashanti youth organized under the leadership of KROBO EDUSEI to attack the Kumasi prison and release them from the Kumasi prison. KROBO EDUSEI was arrested and the six UGCC detainees were removed from the Kumasi prison and sent to the Northern Territories by bus.Please see chapter 7 of Ghana The Autobiography of Kwame Nkrumah by Kwame Nkrumah
