We must accept the FACT that the first President of GHANA was a celebrated MEGALOMANIA-----KWAME NKRUMAH the Nation GHANA first Prime Minister was a very selfish Leader .He was not the sole FIGHTER for the INDEPPENDENCE of GHANA --AND he should have had the GRACE to include all the other colleagues [THE BIG SIX ] IN the CELEBRATION as the TRUE FOUNDERS" of GHANA .Yes KWAME NKRUMAH really did accelerate the drive for our INDEPENDENCE----but we must nevertheless accept that before his presence [INVITATION]to the GROUP----the drive for INDEPEDENT GHANA was already in motion .EVEN Edward Ako ADJEI who broke away with him from the UGCC---[the BIG SIX ]is not given any recognition by Nkrumah .Remember Ako ADJEI did INTRODUCE HIM to the UGCC.---the meanness OF OSAGYEFO is vicious --Dankwa and Obetsebi Lamptey died miserably--in unmarked grave for some time .SELFISH NKRUMAH will not share in the GLORY WITH any one as the originator and the brain behind GHANA'S FREEDOM --AS if before he joined the the UGCC --there was no active agitation and plans to achieve independence for our Nation.
And for me --There is A paradox in the saying that NKRUMAH did LOVE AFRICA more than he LOVED GHANA ----believe me all the other members in the UGCC group LOVED GHANA more than THE OSAGYEFO Dr KWAME NKRUMAH--
HAD NKRUMAH LOVE for GHANA been wholly -he would not have been overthrown,
YES NKRUMAH is THE ARICAN OF THE MILLENIUM --but he cannot be the GHANAIAN of the MILLENIUM.

How many times has NDC parliamentarians especially under Akuffo Addo's presidency written to institutions including countries trying to to stop government business with these institutions or countries? What was their reasons? Wasn't they playing the oversight row as parliamentarians saying that such transaction will not benefit Ghanaians? Does their actions makes the less parliamentarians under the fourth republic?
Has Ghana's independent which was hastily achieved without adequately preparation for self determination brought us any genuine freedom we so desire? Didn't Ghana got independent the same year as south Korea? The South Koreans has fought bitter Korean war, suffered countless military coup d'etat yet look at the benefits of their independent. We are nearly 70 yrs old as a nation and you don't want this history to be put to it's correct perspective? Before Dr Nkrumah was born, were there not many people who had fought for our freedom under the British colonization? Were the leaders of UGCC and other groups not negotiating with the British crown for our independent before kwame Nkrumah was brought to the UGCC as secretary from the USA?
Hijacking the process of independence with his radicalism approach which many uneducated then Gold coast youth fell for it after he has broken away from the UGCC doesn't make him the sole politician who fought for Ghana's independence.
The earliest this piece of history is corrected the better for Ghana. Besides, special day has been set aside to remember and appreciate the tireless efforts of Dr Nkrumah towards Ghana's independent. If to you saying that others built the foundation of our independent and Dr Nkrumah completed it is wrong then i doubt your sincerity as journalist..

It's only a few recalcitrant and mischievous individuals, such as Kwesi Pratt and ilk, who would continue to claim that Nkrumah was the sole founder of the nation. Nkrumah could not even afford to pay for his passage back to the country. Records are still available to indicate that the leadership of the UGGC sacrificed to contribute funds to buy tickets for Nkrumah's sea-journey back. Surely, all the Big Six" played their respective yeoman roles, which duly culminated to the founding of mother Ghana. Albeit, Kwesi Pratt and ilk could go on dissenting ad infinitum, but it won't wash.
