  if I asked him to show his law certificate and he refuse to show it , then I would presumed that he is a certificate less rogue lawyer- this cannot be a fake news.

  if you say Mahama has built a hotel in Dubai ,
  and Mahama come out to say - hey I don't have a hotel or any building facility in Dubai and you could not pull documents to prove that indeed this hotel at the Address and location belongs to him- then it is a fake news.
  what we all must encourage Mahama in this situation is to take the matter very serious and sue the publisher. if the court do their work diligently and awarded damages - I don't think such a person would go around and publish anything he or she has no prove again

For example Akuffo Addo and Napo said there is no dumsor during their tenure, Akuffo Addo said the agyapadie document was written by NDC while he had implemented 90% of the contents, Akuffo Addo said he had never been corrupt, he said there would be no haircuts, Bawumia said they have created 2.1 million jobs, they have constructed more roads than Kwame Nkrumah etc..All these are false.

  what does rule of law means
  1 if you infringed on my rights, the court must deal with you in accordance to the law of defamations of character.
  The problem people dont use this - is the low IQ and the corruptions of the court.
  as for me if I to rate the competence level of the judges in this country
  I will say 85% are corrupt
  15% who are not corrupt lack the judicial intelligence .
  there are rules of engagement- the police is there for criminal issues , they are not there for family issues or divorce and properties, or not taken children to school,- all these are civil and need to pass through the civil process before it is settled in competent court of jurisdiction .
  if for eg
  my wife take family issue to a Radio or TV station- and the TV station published my Image without my consent it is against the law,- how do I deal with it ?
  sue the station for infringement of my Rights , but here is the case- some judges in this country may whatever reasons still goes against the person whose private life and rights has been infringed . this has constituted the problems we are facing today.
  somebody would sit somewhere and published falsehood , because he knows nothing would happen to him, people are tarnishing others hard earn reputations , and nothing could happened to them.
  if we are to solve this problem
  The NMC should come out and made it clear,
  the distinction between public life responsibilities
  and
  that of private life
  eg
  you could publish things about public office holders duties or responsibilities but not his or her private life
  eg
  if I am a minister living in a statehouse or public property you could make videos or photos of that house, you could publish it in the media because it is taxpayers money that funded that facilities but
  you cannot make a video or photo of his private property.
  it is only the police in criminal cases that could draw the attention of the public about what is going on around that facilities.
  Ghana we want democracy, we want free speech, we want rule of law but we don't want to learn
  what is the actual meaning of democracy and rule of law.
  let us make the deformation of character priority and 60% of this problem would be solved
