Any man of God who condones idolatry will also incur the wrath of God. Mr so called Prophet Kofi Oduro. I must be frank with you today. If Nkrumah hasn’t brought his Kankan Nyame idol to Ghana our story would’ve been different today.

Many people argue about the existence of Kankan Nyame idol that is still tormenting Ghanaian leaders right now. Today I will reveal a little bit about the ancient town of Kankan which used to be part of the Old ancient Empire of Ghana, but fell to various subsequent empires of Songhai, Mali and Guinea respectively. The ancient city is currently situated in the present day country of Republic of Guinea, Nkrumah’s adopted country where he spent most his life after he was deposed in 1966. I believe most Ghanaians are also oblivious of the fact that the greatest and richest African leader ever name is associated to that city.

This great man lived in the early 13 Century and ruled over the Old Mali Empire, he was known as Mansa Kankan Musa. He is said to be the richest man ever in the entire world. Nobody seems to have broken his record even up to the moment. People can google this obvious fact. Was Nkrumah Inspired to adopt those idols of Mansa Musa because of his success as one of the greatest black man ever and the richest man in the world. I SHALL RETURN!

However, there is always one person, typically the first head of state, whose name is associated with independence. India, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Angola and even the US. We also learned that the Big Four were considering a Federal System of Government which is the practice in most economically stable countries. Nkrumah wasn’t ready to relinquish absolute power. If we had adopted a Federal System, Volta could have made Cat Meat the Official State Meat and Akpeteshie would have been better promoted instead of Gordon’s Dry Gin. The American Founding Fathers shared ideas and worked out different proposals but Kwame Nkrumah the Johnny Just Come spoiled the game. Great Britain and France weren’t founded by one person. This is clearly a reflection of how the two political traditions differed in their approaches to attaining independence but not the objective of national independence per se.

I don't think that letter means JB Danquah had no role to play in the fight for independence for Ghana. It was a process that had long been initiated by UGCC at the time when Dr. Nkrumah was not in Gold Coast. It was the UGCC which JB Danquah was a leading member that brought Dr Kwame Nkrumah to Gold Coast to assist in the fight for independence. UGCC had their roadmap which was at variant with Nkrumah's "action now" bcos they knew what that entailed. That did not mean that UGCC abandoned it's aim of gaining independence. They wanted it to go systematically but it was still a fight for independence. Dr. Nkrumah became power drunk and so he was so desperate for power. On the night of declaration for independence l don't think it was only Nkrumah who stood on the platform to declare the independence. They were six in number so why do we want to sideline all others and shower the praises on one man (Nkrumah)? Such a thing discourages others who now or in the future can offer their best in the fight against any form of oppression in this country. I believe the "Founders Day" is better. It brings inclusivity bcos it was not fought by only Nkrumah.

And l believe you will agree that, before Dr Kwame Nkrumah was brought on board, the fight for independence had already started. Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was of the view that, radical approach should be the way forward whilst his seniors who brought him on board thought the radical approach would breach the existing laws at the time. And truly, the radical approach landed Nkrumah in jail. Didn't he? That was what UGCC wanted to avoid hence kicking against the radical approach. My history even tells me that, Dr. Nkrumah's transportation to Gold Coast was financed by UGCC and he was paid as their secretary. The point is that, Dr Nkrumah resorted to using radical approach and in that effort, he gained popularity but it doesn't mean he was the one who initiated the fight for independence. If he had come to Gold Coast on his own and to initiate a separate action or fight for independence, that would have been different. For the fact that, a group sponsored him to come to Gold Coast to fight for independence, it that were to be coup d'tat and he had been arrested, do you think those who sponsored him would have been exonerated? Why is it that, when something good came out of it those people should not be mentioned? That is unfair. Dr Kwame Nkrumah was not a sole founder of Ghana.

Whilst Mr Mahama said he wouldn't waste ¢2 billion on free SHS, he immediately announced that he was going to introduce FSHS beginning with day student. I was paying ¢250 for my ward in SHS and out of that amount, Mahama's FSHS absorbed only ¢38. Can that be compared to the current FSHS? At the end of his term, his government which could not afford common chalk for primary schools had not even paid a pesewa for his so called FSHS. So what kind of FSHS did NDC sponsor? The lies must stop bcos unlike the past, now based on the internet, every fact is accessible.

The fact that the country hasn't developed as we all would've loved doesn't mean our independence was a waste. Check the many territories that are still under the British or French rule and see whether they're in anyway doing better. Much of the resources in these territories are taking to the main countries to develop there to the neglect of these territories. By now, all our gold, bauxite, oil, cocoa would've been taking away from us, and a peanut given back to develop the country. It is we the citizen who have allowed greed and tribalism to stiffle the development of this country. Just imagine you akans, particulalry asantes SUPREMACIST think they're more Ghanaian than others and must never be led by any other person outside their tribe.As a matter of fact they think all other tribes are second class. With this kind of weird mentality how can the country grow. No wonder they fought Kwame Nkrumah at all angles. To develop Ghana, we must stop all these tribalism and forge together.
