Obetsebi lived in that government bungalow, had it rehabilitated at a great cost at tax payers' expense, and then decided to buy that property so that he can turn it into a hotel once he left office. Government residences are not meant for sale. That sale was just one of NPP's looting of Ghana government assets. Akomea should be ashamed of himself for condoning NPP corruption with his his lies. That purchase was a corrupt act masked as a sale. Can Akomea point to any low level government employee who has ever decided to purchase their government-provided housing even though such housing was not intended for sale? Akomea claimed Obetsebi bought the land and the house when it was being sold . If the property was state property, who was the one selling it . Is it the state that was selling it clandestinely so that Obetsebi Lamptey could buy it ? This property is assigned to ministers of state and so ministers will not have to rent or buy places to live in while serving their country . So why was the property being sold and by whom . Nana Akomea should tell us something more convincing than this ananse story . This was another form of state capture. The NPP are good at that .
