AND ADMIRATION FOR HIM WAS UNPARALLED. HE WAS MADE THE CHAIRMAN OF THE CABINET'S ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT TEAM.

HE HAS PROMISED IF VOTED TO BECOME PRESIDENT, UNIVERSITY GRADUATE CAN SKIP DOING NATIONAL SERVICE IF AN EMPLOYER WISHES TO OFFER THEM JOBS. I CALL IT 'CHEAP POLITICS.' DOES BAWUMIA KNOW AND UNDERTAND THE CONCEPT AND RATIONALE AND THEREFORE APPRECIATE THE IMPORTANCE OF NATIONAL SERVIVE? CONTRARILY TO HIS THINKING, HON KENNEDY AGYAPONG PROMISED IF HE BECAME PRESIDENT, HE WOULD INTRODUCE SIX MONTHS COMPULSORY MILITARY SERVICE FOR ALL OUR SCHOOL GRADUATES OUT OU THE ONE YEAR NATIONAL SERVICE, PARTLY AS A WAY OF INTRODUCING DISCIPLINE PARTICULARLY AMONG THE YOUTH IN OUR DAILY LIVES.

BAWUMIA IS ALSO TALKIG ABOUT INTRODUCING CREDIT RATINGS INTO OUR SYSTEM SO THAT PEOPLE WHO ARE CREDIT WORTHY CAN BORROW AS MUCH AS THE WANT AND PAY LESS, EVEN IF IT'S 2 CEDIS A MONTH. AGAIN I CALL IT, CHEAP PLITICS. HAS HE ASSESSED HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS IN DEVELOPED OR ADVANCED COUNTRIES AND WHAT MUST BE DONE IN GHANA FOR IT TO WORK?

HAS HE THOUGHT ABOUT THE WOEFUL INDEBTEDNESS THAT WILL INCUR THEREBY AFFECTING THE FINANCIAL STRENGTH OF THE BANKS AND ORDINARY GHANAIANS? HAS HE THOUGHT ABOUT HOW UNRELIABLE OUR HOUSE ADDRESS CURRENTLY IS, JUST TO MENTION A FEW.

I CONSTANTLY ASK MYSELF, 'IS BAWUMIA AN ECONMIST?', AND IF SO, WHY CAN'T HE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE STATE OF OUR ECONOMY? WHY HAS HE KEPT MUTE OR HIDING FROM IT? IS HIS ECONOMIC CREDENTIALS FAKE? AKUFFO ADDO BROUGHT HIM TO COME AND SOLVE GHANA'S ECONOMIC PROBLEMS, SO WHAT HAPPENED?

WHY IS GHANA' ECONOMY WORSE THAN IT WAS BEFORE AND YET THERE IS AN EXPERT IN ECONOMICS IN THE PERSON OF BAWUMIA WITH A PH D IN ECONOMICS HEADING IT?

IT BEATS MY IMAGINATION. WE ARE AGAIN BEING DECEIVED UNDER OUR WATCHFUL EYES. WE ARE NOT ASKING, BAWUMIA, WHAT WENT WRONG IN THE PAST WITH GHANA ECONOMY, AND WHY SHOULD WE VOTE FOR YOU? YOU FAILED WOEFULLY AS AN ECONOMIST. ANY EXPLANATION FROM YOU SIR? NO QUESTION IS BEING ASKED, 'WHAT HAPPENED?'.
