That Bobby Banson guy is a buffoon. We know where his loyalties lie in the political landscape. In actual fact, the winner in the suit is rather Godfred Dame. I believe that boy Bobby Banson listened to the secret tape of Richard Jakpa. It has so many self implicating comments which was damaging to the legal profession in Ghana. What that stupid boy Godfred Dame did was not a plea bargaining but pure criminality. Coaching a defence witness to lie without the presence of his attorney is pure criminality. He even told Richard Jakpa that the judge would be compromised and further asked him to feign sickness. Godfred Dame is the leader of the bar in Ghana. If such action was being taken by one the most senior lawyers in the country, it speaks volumes and must be embarrassing to the Ghana Bar Association. Many of the senior lawyers and academics called for the end of the case but Godfred Dame was stubborn as mule. The judge also asked him to recuse himself but he refused. Many African countries were running commentaries on the trial. If Ghana were a serious country, that Godfred Dame guy would have been fired or barred from practising law. It is very disappointing that the GBA didn't utter a single word . The GBA has now become Ghana Borla Association. The Association should thank the Appeal Court for the face saving ruling. Honestly, our justice delivery in Ghana is rotten and stinks.

For the sake of law and democracy he should go for an appeal isn't it. Now where in law and democracy is it written that an AG can maliciously prosecute people. Had it not been God's intervention this AG could've killed some people by hanging. How can you do this to your fellow human being. Nobody is saying don't punish criminals, once you've found culpable definitely the law should deal with you. But not when you for sure that the person you putting on trail has done nothing wrong. Is that democracy? Sometimes some of you so called lawyers speak as if you don't have sense. Let him go for the appeal you people want him to go and that's where the audio recording issue will come up. If this AG had confidence in his case why did he call Jakpa to coach him what to say to implicate an innocent person. Do call this law and democracy.
