The Kenyans structured their demonstration so that they were no leaders. If you are serious do same by ignoring the police and their injunctions.

Hello youth of Ghana. You can take your own life with medicine. For instance 10 paracetamol at once.....or combine medicine and akpeteshie or weedicide.

Exactly my thoughts. Yanzuh appears to be the go to judge anytime the government wants to apply its culture of silence regime.

Citizens do not need a 'go ahead' from the police to demonstrate. That's not the law. The law is being misinterpreted to mean that citizens must get a 'go-ahead' from the police to demonstrate, which is a constitutional right under the constitution. What the constitution says is that the organizers of the demonstration or match must just 'inform' the police and not to seek permission. And so the police must just provide security and protection for the occasion. It is being projected as if citizens need permit or authorization to match or protest in the streets, NO. Citizens can match and demonstrate any time and they just have to 'inform' the police and 'not to seek permission' to protest.

Once the police is notified of the plan to demonstration, the police must take steps to protect the public along the route, there must be a clear reason to demonstrate. Ghana has been through her period of demonstration, the reason for the demo as stated is not supported with evidence to convince the police, or the judge. And it can easily be concluded that some groups just want to copy Kenya. Ghana is way better than many Africa Countries, including Kenya, Nigeria and so on. Why should police waste resources to police such, when they could be patrolling citizens going about their daily activities.

You are simply copying what is happening in Kenya. Ghana has always been hard and yet we worked to improve our lives.
