Your own NDC MPs pushed against it because of public outcry. They made it look like only NPP MPs will benefit. They are just following the crowd. NDC only follow what the masses say because it's election time. The same thing they said that they will release imprisoned galamseyers and allow galamsey to go on but today they are saying they will stop galamsey because people are saying so.

You dishonourable guys enjoy more benefits than the MP's in British parliament, the people who brought democracy to you. What you guys are suggesting will not even cross the mind of British MP's, let alone to bring it up for debate in parliament simply because they respect their constituents and the British people. Honestly you guys stinks in the nostrils of decent people.

This is humility, The Holy Spirit of Asanti Kotoko has baptised the HON speaker of parliament.
to be honest it is a first time such a high ranking person in Authority is apologising to the public for something they think has sparked public anger and it goes against the basic fundamentals of the constitution that stipulate all are equal before the law.
Hon speaker Bagbin has made a true difference in our democracy. his apology goes far beyond what we see,
it show the maximum respect the speaker has for the people of Ghana.
Thank you mr speaker for the acknowledgement- your apology is well received
at least you have shown the remorseful way as a leader

This suggests that the paid commentators, who often flood these sections with comments, are surprisingly quiet on this issue. It's as if they've been instructed to avoid it, possibly because it doesn't serve their political agendas."

Bagbin is a terrible liar and a hypocrite. How do you say the government wanted to introduce this bill, and that, the opposition stood their ground to stop it? It's rather Dominic Ayine, the NDC MP from Bolga, who forced that particular provision into the bill. It did not emanate from government. In fact, he, Dominic Ayine, has publicly taken blame for it, and accordingly, apologised for his unwise move. How then do you want to twist the facts?
