Ghana is now full of liars pretending or claiming to be Historians, yet distorting facts which are basis for history. When Nkrumah was overthrown, Acheampong was in charge of Nkrumah's Western Region and secured it for the Notorious Liars Council (NLC)

Acheampong in an interview with a German newspaper unequivocally stated that his coup was not to reinstalte Osagyefo KN.
Nkrumah's son, Dr. Francis Nkrumah went to Bucharest to visit his ailing father and as a Medical Doctor asked his father if he wanted to come to Ghana since he knew his father wanted something like that to boost his tenacity to live and help Africa.
Osagyefo KN asked his son if the government of Ghana (Acheampong's) has invited him to come to Ghana. Since that was not the case, Professor Francis told his father the truth, which is that there was no such an invitation.
Acheampong was an opportunist, who merely used Nkrumah's demise to gain some popularity in Ghana.
Nkrumah's view of military takeovers and ruling is undisputably stated in his Axioms. That is why we must not sympathize with Acheampong and Rawlings etc.

Acheampong on the other came in corrupt from the starting block.

He invited on his back a whole bunch of junior officers who thought he was a fraud, jumping from Colonel to General. From that standpoint, it was only a matter of time before someone overthrew him for corruption of mind.

Then came in a flux of very corrupt indulgence within the senior staff over a long period including sex (including) with anyone's wife they came across.

No one organised the people to jubilate but people must learn the true history of Ghana. Jubilation, jubilation as our second Independence.
