This useless and visionless NPP government have decided to complete the easier part of the project so they can at least claim to have done something too.
The question is, you build a nursing training school, without building any hospitals; are you training the nurses to work on farms?

Kuffuor initiated the Eurojet projects but failed to secure funding, so it died a natural death and was abundoned in 2008. It was not until 4 years into the NDC administration when John Mahama revisited the idea at a time he wanted to build hospitals in the country. He sort for, and secured a Barclays UK funding for the project, and got parliamentary approval for the loan n 2013. Please go and verify the facts in the parliamentary hansard which is always available, and stop the lies. Kiffuor never secured any funding. It was John Mahama who repackaged the who idea, refocused it and got funding to build all those hospitals. The facts can be found in.the parliamentary hansard. Please grow up and stop behaving like the usual NPP empty head zomvies and illiterate serial callers.

All they do is to look for cheap areas of addional buildings like classrooms, faculry blocks under so-called phase 2 which would have already been catered for in the original plan. They are visionless, and have no brains to think outside the box to do anything new. All they have done is to misuse and steal.most of tmthe gargantuan 622 billion cedis debt they have added to the national debt with was 120 billion cedis in January 2017.

The complex is built but there will be no yearly financial allocation for maintenance and renovation. After few years the place will be runned down. For example, lab equipments, furnitures, unfunctioning electric bulbs, broken windows, etc will be left unattended. Toilets will not be kept clean and no toilet papers in the washroom. The lack of renovation could lead to the building falling apart. I may sound pessimistic but unfortunately this is the reality in our mother land Ghana.

Not long ago a KNUST professor complained about the poor maintenance of the newly refurbished Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra. He mentioned things like over grown lawns, unfunctioning electric bulbs and poor state of the water fountains, etc. But as usual the management of the Park are not held accountable for mismanaging the Park. We can never develop as a nation if people are not held accountable for negligence of duty.

In all these, my brothers and sisters, there are a few things any government must do; that is, fight corruption from head to toe, maintain a proper sanitation regime across the length and breath of the country, persistent training of our security personnel to secure our borders and illegal crossing points from terrorism, maintenance of law and order and maintenance of our roads, etc. With these, the citizenry will directly feel the impact. I judge governments by these.
