We use to have State Hotels Corporation that had Meridian,Tema, Ambassador, Continental and Star Hotel all in Accra, City Hotel in Kumasi, Atlantic in Takoradi and a host of Catering Rest Houses in the regional capitals in its portfolio. Where are they now - sold and being managed profitably by the private business folks. The State should not run a commercial enterprise period.

Juxtapositioning her opinion with what some of us know it means the workers largely ran down state businesses so the politicians will do sweetheart deals and acquire them. What's the role of management/workers in the ran down. To me madam's opinion is a complete misdiagnosis of the problem; we heap every blame on politicians whiles the real culprits who do the damage go scot-free.

We wish you well but be sure you have a strong heart to face a shock. Remember that elections are not hereditary succession where there is near perfect certainty that someone will come to power because they have waited long enough. Best regards
