Stop confusing Ghanaians with cedis because by the exchange rate at the time Mahama borrowed 35million dollars. Conveting that to the current exchange rate is 520 billion Cedis. Subtract from 720 to find out how much NPP actually borrowed.

And they would move from taxation to production which would curb or reduce borrowing.
Yet theirs is unreasonable ,so honestly this is the worst output from the npp govt.

Until our leaders are held accountable for their looting and corruption, these looters and scoundrels will continue to perpetrate this stealing. Rawlings came and shot and maimed some citizens on the assumption of being corrupt. Some of these individuals were hard-working Ghanaians who acquired their wealth genuinely. Nevertheless, they were shot and publicly lynched and humiliated. In the long run, Rawlings himself became corrupt and manipulated his way out with impunity. Akkufo-Addo covered Mahama and his cohorts of their financial impropriety, probably knowing his administration was going to be the worst. Mahama could be in power and not a single official of this corrupt Akkufo-Addo government will face the music. With this kind of impunity, Ghana will continue to borrow money only for it to be stolen by politicians. The Akkufo-Addo government got a loan to fix the Kwabenya-Aburi road. The project was started and abandoned. No explanation given and no one is going to be held accountable for that. That is why we are in this debt. Technically, Ghana is a failed nation, not because we do not have the brain and the brawn to develop it. Rather, we have intellectuals who are armed robbers with pen and in suits.

I think the nation has grown past this kind of politics. District hospital is not the only development the country needs. If President Mahama has built enough hospitals, what is the need for Nana Addo to also build some. By the way, the hospitals the NDC claim to have built were all initiated by President Kufuor. They talk of Kumawu, Fomena, Sewua, Bekwai,Tepa, Afari Konongo and many more. All these, the NDC came to meet or the contract was signed before Kufuor left power. Whilst the NDC will not let Nana claim any project initiated by the NDC but executed by NPP, they claim all Kufuor projects. For the 8 years the NDC was in power, they couldn’t complete a single project. Even their so called Dubai interchange wasn’t completed. Besides not completing their projects and that of Kufuor’s, they inflated the cost and no money was left for Nana Addo. We need policies that will propel the country forward. No government uses his personal money to construct a project. All projects are executed with loans. For the NPP, they were able to tackle some projects with internal generated funds.

Though none of agenda 111 hospital is commissioned, it's unprecedented in the country forget about none has been commissioned but they will definitely be completed and commissioned.
