Economies all over the world are not "stagnant" like humans growing. Our physical features change as we grow older likewise economies.

Imagine Mahama was still in power, will the dollar still be at 3.8? Some of you should grow past the 1-cedi kenkey price politics going on in Ghana.

it is very important to note what the then opposition leader and his vice said about the increase in the rate- at that time your analysis was not born ?- people have no brains to think world economy is like Human Beins it grows from smooth young faces to wrangled faces.

this Bawumia told the whole country and world that
mahma is incompletely managing the economy because the rate was 1:1 and they have moved it to 3.8: 1. the was a deciding factor in the 2016 election.
we all recall that in somewhere march 2017 Akuffu Addo has not fully formed his government, his economic policies has not been formulated not alone to take effects and impacts on Ghana economy, yet still
your Bawumia mount meet the press and boosted that he has arrested the dollar and has given the keys to then IGP.

the question I am asking him is

if somebody who took the rate from 1:1 to 3.80: 1 was called and referred to as incompetent in an attempt to mock Mahama ,
what and how do you want me to call or refer the one who has increase the rate from 3.8 :1 to 17.4 :1 ?
is he incompetent or super incompetent or super turbo incompetent ?
if you analysis was the measure prior to 2016 elections then let us call for the same analystic tape to measure it today .
or
if exchange rate exposes Mahama weak economic policies that resulted the rate jumping from $1 : 2GHS ,

then
let us also rely on the same exchange rate today
$1: 17.4 GHS

I am not interested in back-and-forth debate but at times, it is necessary. Now, do you love or adore how our economy tanked under JJ which saw just one hundred cedis as 1 million? All what we are going through started by JJ because he wreaks havoc on us due to his failed economic policies. An example, when he took power, he chastised the Acheampong regime for printing 50 cedi notes therefore destroying our economy. He rather printed 500-and-5000-cedi notes and what did that do to our economy?

We should bear in mind that we are building a country and there is nothing like one size fits all scenario in nation building.

Now, we have used this dollar whatever to destroy our political discourse, and remember I am not saying we should not do that, and we will chase every government away with the dollar narrative which to me, makes no sense because our currency is the CEDI which is not in short supply.

If Mahama is elected, do you think he can let the dollar go back to 3.8 be honest with yourself.
