The law in Ghana now discriminates against the poor and the less affluent in society.
This foolish judge have Annor Dompreh a pass during his sentence because of his position in society even though the judge acknowledged the crime committed by the MP. Is that how the law in Ghana works? This is a shame and disgrace to the legal profession.

Annor Dompreh committed an offense for which he deserves a custodial sentence but because he is npp mp and not an ordinary citizen, he should go in peace? What a tortuous judgment! We in trouble! Custodial sentence is for ordinary citizens only? Oh, so npp rule has messed up the courts? First of all, will it have been the same if he were a minority chief whip? Secondly, who is ordinary citizen? Is a medical doctor, or a director at the ministry an ordinary citizen? I think we have to rename the prisons as Ordinary Citizens Prison’.
