  I am surprised that people have been clamouring for a review of the free shs since the very day of its inception. I'm wondering how many times the northern free education has been reviewed since Nkrumah started it. But that is of no concern to Ghanaians except the one instituted by nana addo. I have never heard of a call by anyone for a review of the northern one. I stand to be corrected. Is the syllabus of the current one different from the northern one? I don't think so. Are the teachers in the North not GES teachers? Are the students in the north not Ghanaians? This constant call for a review smacks of hypocrisy on the part of all the naysayers and enemies of nana addo and a big shame to all of them. Call for a review of the northern one first, then you will have the moral right to call for a review of the free shs, all you hypocrites, liars and detractors. Shame on you!!!

  Asking your own questions and answering them, huh? You chose to conveniently leave out the fact that the present free shs is on a much bigger scale and resource intensive than the northern one. It's also rumoured to be a burden on our economy. It's the main reason why a review is in order and it makes sense to those of us who are not die hard fans of NPP.

  I remember the only fees the government paid for those who were enjoying the free education in the north were the feeding grants which we used to sign. We paid fees like any Ghanaian students.
  
  This one is completely free for all fees including books, pens, uniforms etc. therefore, there is an urgent need to review it before it collapses the already fragile economy.

Continue to attack it and you will lose 2024. If paying fees brings quality there are many private schools. Those who want to pay are free take their wards there.
