As an economist go back and properly read your notes on betting and tips. They are classified as earnings and as such they are taxable. Don't behave as if you don't understand the meaning of betting and tips. Don't be fooled by politics. NDC MP's don't want to read; that is their problem.

You are quick to compare the American taxing system to Ghana but your head fails to add the many benefits and advantages an American citizen has over a Ghanaian.

  Osei-Kwabena, do you think you are the only educated person in Ghana? Do you think the rest of us are stupid? Do Americans pay Covid-19 tax? Why should one buy a commercial vehicle for USD8000 and end up paying approximately USD8000 because of the ridiculous 22 different taxes, including Covid Health recovery levy, Covid Network Charge Levy, GETFund import levy, Network Charge Getfund again, etc. This is complete madness. Yet the government says SHS is free. Why should my money be stolen and given to the akpeteshie drinker's sons and daughters? While he goes on a drinking spree? This is complete nonsense.
  Mahama please come and rescue us as soon as possible before we lose everything as a country.

  Stop this dirty politics. You know cos of the IMF program, they can't cancel any tax now. Rather they didn't introduce new taxes and they didn't increase the existing ones so your argument doesn't hold water
