stop given us any figures and updates,
you know the causes of the road accident in Ghana,
90% of road accidents in this country is due to poor road engineering & constructions , poor or No markings narrow roads with potholes , poor or no road signals and an unauthorised bumps on the roads.
how on earth do we have Ghana highway Authority , and people could construct bumps on a so called Highway ? are you mad ?=
if you want to minimise road accident and the above causes are not dealt with, you would come every day by given us figures which cannot solve the problem.
how many people did corona virus killed in this country as compare to the people who has died in road accident ? yet corona virus was treated as a national disaster for prompt actions
why is. the government not prioritising road accidents in the country and solve the problem ?
take Accra to Kumasi so called highway for example
everything on that road is as poor as the way the Ghana leaders think.
why do we still have potholes on a highway ? and those fools who called themself Ghana highway Authority has paid a blind eye to that ? still they are expecting the motorist to know every spot of a pothole on a highway which has a speed limit of at least 80km / hour ?
if the accident is not a head-on crash , people would suffer bruises but won't die
Mostly all the accidents happening in this country that killed many people are head-on crash-
why do we still construct narrow roads with no road markings ?

somebody is travelling from ACCRA to Bawku by road, just imaging the difficulties such a motorist could go through before reaching to his destination. yet still if something happens these good for nothing nation wreckers would still blame that person who has faced all the road challenges that suppose to be solved by this same people . it is only a mad man that does this,
you shift your responsibilities on others and still blame them for your inactive ?
recently I read that a chief has been arrested for fixing a dilapidated road in his community - if you are not mad would you arrest somebody who is helping you to fix your problem ?
you guys deserve nothing than tying you in public for every kid in this country to give you a slap in the face

@kaiser I fully agree with you. The road network in countries like Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Namibia, Senegal, Botswana, South Africa, etc are much better than what we have in Ghana and yet we were the first to gain political independence on the African continent. Ghana we have a long way to go. We are not doing well as a nation.

You're lying. The death toll is not 7000 but 700. Get your facts straight and stop polluting the minds of Ghanaians.

Whether it is 700 or 7000 people are loosing their lives. Even one person loosing his life is significant.

Does the Government care about all these deaths? How do people get driving license in Ghana? Apart from the practical do they also have a theoretical component at the driving schools and who oversees the schools and the theoretical examination? Are drivers required to have their roadworthiness certificate and proof of test at hand when stopped by the Police? I repeat why so many deaths on our roads?

Why give driving license to people who don't know what the traffic signs stands for? We should revisit the process of acquiring a driving license in Ghana.
