If because of jealousy you don't want to accept it, then is your problem. Asantehene can make your government unpopular and you can be removed from power before your tenure ends. Jj lasted for Long because he didn't support his removal, go and read Appiah minka's book how they planned and informed otumfuo to counter Jj but he advised them against that.
Understand that apart from 47 constituencies in Ashanti Region, he has more than that in other regions in Ghana.
Politicians understand, that is why they will always place Asantehene above your chief. Don't forget that Ghana nearly became ungovernable if he had not intervene in rebellion against akuffo addo.
