He promised to build the people of Cape Coast a harbour and an airport, where are they? Didn't he lie to them? Who told us that he used to work at the Bank of Ghana and that he knew that the money is there and so we need not borrow? Then he as the head of the Economic Management Team (together with Akufo Addo) led their government to borrow about 8 times the amount borrowed by the previous administration (which he criticised severely). After borrowing about 8 times the amount borrowed by previous administration, he told us they have managed the borrowing better than the previous administration. That's the bitter taste of truth. Instead of call him an NPP sympathizer, you should rather ask yourself what policies has John Dramani proposed which suggests that he's not going to fail like he did from 2012 to 2016? I could say that his first term met him unprepared. But, after almost 8 yrs in opposition all he can think of is the "24-hour economy" which neither he nor his party can explain. The truth is that the NDC thought Bawumia wouldn't be able to come out with fresh ideas but they have come to realize that where their policy stops is where Bawumia's policy begins. No manifesto, no debate, and no track record yet the NDC think they will win. Bawumia will become president to their surprise like he thought he wouldn't become NPP flagbearer.
