I just don’t get it. Does our Constitution make room for Deputy IGP? If so, why this noise? If it’s a constitutional provision, then I don’t see anything wrong with this appointment.

Indeed, this President does not just get up and do whatever he deems necessary to promote his egotistical tendencies, as did Kwame Nkrumah when he devised the introduction of the diabolical Prevention Detention Act to muzzle his political opponents. Furthermore, the constitution duly provides for the position. Albeit, all such self-acclaimed security analysts, who seem to think otherwise, are entitled to their own opinions.
