  Unlike Addis Ababa, Accra is full of street vendors and markets everywhere which leads to littering and uncleanliness. Unless these issues are addressed Accra will remain a filthy city. There is therefore a need to create markets and force traders to carry out their activities in the market and nowhere else.

  Makola market should be closed and relocated somewhere else in a modern form. The market is an eyesore and looks like a sprawling shantytown in the heart of our national capital.
