Daniel Domelevo wasn’t fighting any corruption as he hoodwinked Ghanaians to believe. He was rather appointed to watch the back of Kromfour Mahama. Actually Domelevo turned himself into a social media and media commentator hopping from one TV station to another selling Mahama’s snake oil.

He engaged in a “pick and choose” strategy to frustrate the Akuffo-Addo administration’s efforts to unravel those numerous corrupt activities that was perpetrated by Mahama and his appointees. Domelevo also applied every possible means to frustrate Osafo-Marfo’s attempt to dig into Mahama and his Capos offshore accounts, the reason why the former hired Kroll Associates to undertake that assignment?

What did Domelevo achieve for the five years he was appointed as Ghana’s Auditor General? This is a man who identified himself on his resume’ as a Togolese birthed in Adiembra Kumasi, Sankansi in Togo, Afao, Lomé Atsigame, Kpaleme, Atakpame Junction Benin— you name it, yet he claimed a 100% Ghanaian citizenship.

On his Ghanaweb biography, his Date of birth is indicated as N/ A ( Non Applicable). His Place of Birth is indicated as Ghana, no hometown or town of birth. What a shady guy? But he is always the first person who quickly takes the lead to paint others as more corrupt than himself. I SHALL RETURN.

To make matters worse, your ranting against Domelevo is too tinged with political prejudice to be taken seriously. It only added a bit of unwelcome comedy to the subject-matter.

Genuine, reasonable and right-thinking Ghanaians respect the principled fortitude of Domelevo and we don't need a New Yorker to tell us what the situation is like on the "front".

I was for once, almost tempted to look at the TUC in good light until I recollected that this most incompetent and criminal SSNIT Board, has several members of the TUC on it.

The names, photos and sections of the TUC from which those TUC personnel on the SSNIT Board come from, should be highly publicized in the local media for all workers and indeed all Ghanaians to know who those treacherous, selfish and greedy culprits are.

Had it not taken the incredibly brave intervention of just one single Ghanaian, the entire hierarchy of the TUC with their tens of thousands of paid members as well as millions of Ghanaians, would have been caught napping and the smart thieves and their collaborators would have cooly stolen our properties without any sweat.

If, as is evident, the management of SSNIT cannot show that it is capable of efficiently managing those workers funds, then I think it is about time that the TUC divest their funds from SSNIT and begin to look at other more viable options to invest their funds.

Thus far, it seems that the greatest beneficiaries of these workers funds have been the various members of Boards and management staff who from their fat allowances, salaries, perks and side-deals, have built mansions whilst the real contributors and owners of the funds who are the pensioners, are left with a measly couple of hundred Cedis each month to barely survive on. This diabolical scenario cuts a true picture of the "monkey dey work, baboon dey chop" adage.

What are we going to do about it? Fold our arms and watch? Just talk about it and leave it? Some of those acquisitions were not even paid for as was disclosed in parliament when the work of Assets disposal committee is being examined.

Indeed, Ablakwa is not serving the interest of any worker, as never worked after university but went straight into politics. If he does, he would not have kicked against the sale because those institutions are rather draining ssnit instead of adding value to workers contributions. In fact it is only in the theory of TUC of Ghana where 100% of 0 ghc is better than 10% of 10 ghc.
I pity workers who are applauding TUC and Okodzato Ablakwa.
