Investigate Dr Dzikum Evans, SSNIT board member, president of Closag and chief director of defense. One man thousand. Investigate him as a labour representative on the board. How is he representing the labour front on this board?

Much as I agree that workers must have a say in the way their contributions are invested by SSNIT, we need to be careful not to use our numbers to coerce SSNIT into doing things that eventually could bring negative outcomes. I will also like to point out that some entities (minority in parliament, UTAG etc) are now capitalising on the issue to execute parochial, ulterior and far fetched demands. UTAG , for example, is threatening to go on strike if the SSNIT board and management are not sacked. The baby with sharp teeth is calling for the expulsion of the Agric and Trade Ministers. Isn't it enough that RCH has withdrawn from the bid and that SSNIT has aborted the transaction?
