  A lot of people in Africa can't read or write and live in the rural areas. They use currencies of their respective states. They can't use their phones to do any transactions besides receiving and making calls. Even identifying various currency denominations by numbers is through the help of others. So we need one currency instead of mobile operability.

  You claimed you are an economist. But your currency was selling at Ghc 4.00 to the dollar when you took over, but now sell at over Ghc16.00 to the dollar. That can only be the work of a grossly incompetent economist. You can't be the manager of the economy and now be talking digitalization. No wonder the city continue to depreciate further because the person is charge of it has run away and is now talking digitalization.
  He thinks Ghana is cheap so after destroying our economy we should now make you the president. Ghanaians let's vote them out. Let's go out on the day of the election December 7th and vote massively against the current incompetent disgraceful and deceptive NPP government.

  Physical currencies are losing their significance due to debit cards, credit cards, online money payments systems like Google pay, Apple pay, PayPal and etc.
  Modern payment system are by-passing the use of physical money.
  Digital currencies known as Bitcoins are also making the use of physical currencies insignificant.
  With this systems buying and making payments in the Europe and America has become easy. That is why online businesses are flourishing.
  Africa must seriously look at it and modernized our payment and intera and inter county transactions.
  After all almost every currency is has its exchange rate. Therefore the physical currencies are not needed in the international transactions.
