Why is the A-G declaring victory as if Ghana entirely won the case. Yes, Ghana doesn't have to pay any monetary award to ENI/Vitol but ENI/Vitol does not have to unitize its field with Springfield. It is Springfield the loses as it has no capital to develop its field and cannot unitize with ENI/Vitol and save development capital, which it doesn't have. Maybe the GNPC, with its cHairman, Freddy Blay, can finance Springfield's development CAPEX. Ah - I thought Springfield's CEO, Kevin Otchere, is the richest person in Ghana and should be able to finance his own oil field development, ha.
