Emotional and desperate statement from the useless CPP. How many seats does CPP has in parliament? "Your" Nkrumah died with his CPP, and the party will never see the sun again.

When Nkrumah was in power, the road linking our two big cities, Accra and Kumasi, was like a mouse trail and he gave 10million pounds to support Ghana-Guinea-Mali alliance. What benefit did that alliance give to CPP members in Ghana today? That money could have dualized Accra-Kumasi Road to asphaltic level.

Nkrumah, as first president, did well but population wise, Nana is far ahead of him.

In fact sometimes I pity the smaller political parties in Ghana. It's so unfortunate that their voices are not even considered in the governance of the country. To make impact on the electoral fortune of the people of Ghana they ( smaller parties) should forget about the presidency and sponsor their members to run for parliamentary seats. As their numbers grow in parliament they will one day produce a president. They can even leverage on their numbers in parliament to force the government in power hand in doing the right things.

The same can be said about Kwame Nkrumah. He was also a mere mortal whose supporters believe him to be beyond criticism. His supporters rather consider him to be a demi-god and insist that all Ghanaians should accept that. Time passes and national development ls a dynamic and continuous process. It is therefore unfathomable to insist that the achievements of a leader who ruled the country between 1957 and 1966 are unparalleled and that no subsequent government has done or can do better. Those who think this way live in the past and refuse to let go of the past.They should ponder on why the CPP Nkrumah's party, for example currently exists, but only on paper. Nkrumah wasn't and isn't a god. Not everyone accepts that he is the best leader Ghana's history or that his achievements are unparalleled. As the country continues on the journey of development his achievements will be surpassed by those of subsequent leaders.
