  Every appointee of NADAA is worst like him. NADAA appointed over 120 ministers more than the US and China. Eventually they did nothing except to bankrupt ghana. Exactly the CJ wanna do.

  THE PARLIAMENT OF GHANA IS RIGHT NOW A HUNG PARLIAMENT AND TOTALLY HANDICAPPED. ALSO THE SPEAKER IS VERY PARTISAN. SO THE EXTRA SITTING WON’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE.
  
  Right now we have a hung Parliament and so the Parliament has become totally ineffective, as a result very important bills are not able to pass because of obvious parliamentary filibusters and clotures. And since this is the first hung parliament Ghana has ever experienced since independence, it’s quite imperative that the President gets the Judiciary involved to help take the task to effectively solve some problems that the August House should have been able to solve if there’s was clear majority at the either side of the political aisles or the divide.
  
  Another problem with the parliament right now has to do with the current Speaker Alban Osman Bagbin: The guy is too partisan and seems to be confusing his work as the Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament vis a vis conducting the affairs of the NDC party of which he is looking to contest in their future Presidential primaries as a candidate.
  
  So don’t blame the President for getting the Supreme Court involved in making some important decisions. One of the reasons the President is obliged to appoint more justices to the Apex Court to help adjudicate important matters the Parliament can’t do because of lack of clear majority.
  
  The country must have important decisions made either by the parliament or the Supreme Court has the duty to reinterpret some of the ambiguities in our current constitution. I SHALL RETURN!

  Just look at Gertrude Torkornoo's lips. She looks like a surplus eater(supru) eater in our secondary school days. I worry so much about Ghana's future. I thought this Chief Justice as woman would be a sensible person to reform Ghana's judiciary. On the contrary, she is worse than Anim Yeboah and Jones Dotse put together. America, UK, Australia, Germany, New Zealand etc..all have nine Supreme Court justices. Already Ghana has fifteen SC justices to set up a kangaroo court. They earn high salaries, bonuses and ex gratia. Supreme Court justices who cannot even interpret article 94 (2) in the case of Gyakye Quayson, they ruled that a birth certificate cannot be used to claim citizenship and other frivolous rulings. They waste their times on foolish cases brought by Ken Kuranchie, Amanda Odoi, Maurice Ampaw and Richard Sky. They always listen to a criminal like Godfred Dame. Ghana Bar Association has now become Ghana Borla Association. In actual fact, Ghana is not practicing any democracy and rule of law. Akuffo Addo just packed the Supreme Court with NPP footsoldiers and they are just fooling around. This NPP government is the most corrupt government since independence. Can you imagine they refused to prosecute even one NPP animal? Ghana has a rotten justice delivery system. Bloody jokers. The judiciary needs a total reform.

We must remember that the courts that you're talking of are not supreme courts that can handle special cases referred to the Supreme Court. Lets be serious for once

  Massa! Don’t speak about something you have not a shred of knowledge about. America is a Federal State, and each of the 50 States has its own laws and Judicial System. For Instance the State of New York has about 9 State Supreme Court justices.
  
  So if that average should apply to every individual State you would be talking of about 400+ Supreme Court Justices, that is aside the nine US Supreme Court Justices. The reality is that every individual States have their rights and can trial cases accordingly. For instance former President Trump has been tried and convicted by the State of New York High Court. Meanwhile he also has three other federal court cases pending. Though the Supreme Court has put a hold on the federal Court cases, but the High Court of New York State is has scheduled a date to sentence him.
  
  The US Supreme Court can’t interfere with the New York State ruling. The only higher authority that can set aside the ruling is the New York State Supreme Court, the Governor of the State of New York, and perhaps the President of the United States, even the interference of the President of the United State isn’t going to be easy because a lot of constitutional scholars are predicting that the move can trigger a constitutional crisis. So don’t talk about something you have no knowledge about. I SHALL RETURN

  Just a little maths to help you understand Taayaa’s argument:
  50 USA states of 400 SC judges means an average of 8 judges per state. Does that not even defeat your argument??????
  The truth is that most of these judges are corrupt and lazy. If the government is asking all Ghanaians to sacrifice then why don’t they do more sitting?
  We pay all these crazy salaries way higher than what Nigeria pays it’s judges yet they are way more efficient than their Ghanaian counterparts.

This is so because the winner of the case cannot afford money to come to Accra. The Judiciary is a canker in the fourth Republic no wonder the law profession have become lucrative business.

  Madam CJ, please don't disappoint because our expectations were so high when a former MP of Adenta attested to your integrity on a radio program at Asempa Fm.
  At least Madames T. Woode and S. Akufo were there before you and placed the state of Ghana first.
  The appointment authority cannot strangle you physically only a little loss of being invited to social events.

  Get your facts together. You can’t compare a Federal Government system to a unitary system of government.
  For your information every one of the 50 individual states in the US have their own Supreme Court. And if you factor the number of the Supreme Court justices in all these states you would be talking of 350-400 or perhaps more. So don’t engage in that blind argument.

  What heavy workload? If your court allows frivolous cases to be assigned hearings and you end up having your hands full, that isn't a court that works efficiently, it's called incompetence and pandering to a crooked President. As Chief Justice, you're supposed to find ways to make the courts more efficient, not to pack the courts at the request of your Julor House benefactor and nation-wrecker ananse Akufo-Addo.
