@Adams, where are we? What are the negative aspects? You mean common problems that come with every important human enterprise,? We are close to where we are supposed to be, so NO CHILD, is denied secondary school education because parents do not have the financial muscle. Children do not have opportunity to choose parents and so the common wealth of the people should be enjoyed by them instead of it going to the pockets of thieving government officials and party footsoldiers and families. Any attempt at scrapping FSHS should be resisted strongly.

Gov.should wait for extensive debate on the bill as it is now since abolishing note raises a serious concern as someone being taught education by his hometown queenmother,a pupil teacher. A failed to recognise quality education and certification and the use of gazzettes in the absence of crises mean a total lack of average knowledge of education to depend on fully as a ministry and a country.

You are rejecting it on the grounds that teacher unions did not get a kickback from the reforms? Sorry. Be prepared to accept the reforms.

Angel Karbonu, the perpertuel president of NAGRAT, is an NDC spokesperson. Let secondary school be secondary school. Allow continuos assessment and let SS be the basic education for all children. The world is moving fast.

Reject the proposed Free SHS Bill - NAGRAT urges Parliamentary Select Committee on Education.
NAGRAT should come out and advocate for the rejection of so-called free SHS bill. They should Ghanaian parents and students know it will not help in their course in education.
But if NAGRAT sit on the fence relying on house of parliament they should forget it. NAGRAT should hold press briefs and Demonstration to show their displeasure on the bill the early the better.
The free SHS in it's current form needs to be structured and not a law to satisfy someone's legacy.

I am deeply disappointed in the government of Ghana. In less than 5 months to general elections you want to do everything possible to cover up the mess.
Currently, the SHS 1 students are going on vacation after spending less than 2 months in school and they don't know the reopening date.
Headmasters, housemasters, administrators, the kitchen staff, heads of department and some teachers in SHS do not enjoy any vacation. What a wicked policy!
Islam is evil and retarded. Burn all mosques.
