I used to defend him a lot on social media, but I am beginning to see him as a very selfish person.
He should stop reminding Ghanaians about his selfishness that led to Ghana not winning that match against Uruguay; Stephen Appiah was the ideal person to have taken that penalty, but Gyan's greed and selfishness wouldn't allow it.
He should stop opening old wounds.

It's part of the game to miss penalty kicks. But your explanation is untenable. You redeemed nothing as far as the match was concerned. You scoring in the penalty shootouts didn't have the same impact as it would be if you scored the one you missed earlier. I would have accepted your explanation if Ghana won on penalties, but we lost. Do I blame you for that? No. I would advice you to forget it and move on.

Gyan should understand by now that the reason he's still alive today's bcz he's a Ghanaian assuming he's from Colombia will he still be talking about missing that Pk? Apart from that Gyan also denied himself opportunities which could allowed Ghanaians forgive him but that also he bungled it. Gyan's greatest undoing is saying his late mother told him in a dream to stop taking penalty kicks for the Black Stars. It was the most callous and crude decision of all. He was the reason Ghana failed to win in 2015 Afcon.
If he had taken part in penalties Ghana haven't taken a resounding 2-0 lead during he penalty kicks wouldn't have lost it eventually when the next two players missed theirs allowing Cote d'Ivoire to recover and won it at our expense he sits there and blarb. We're too tolerant in this country.
