In fact crafty adopted that strategy to throw the dust into the eyes of listeners and viewers but the accused was always smart to refer him to an exhibit that cancelled the documents the agent was referring to. If anything I would say the Jakpa guy is smart and is not a walkover.

The judge was also tolerant to the point of asking court to hand over bundles of exhibits to Jakpa to find whatever exhibit he claimed to be looking for to challenge the AG's assertion on the date of import of first tranche of vans, only for him to read something that confirmed the AG's assertion. It's good the case is now being broadcast for the whole world to see. We're tired of useless and twisted reporting by half-baked journalists!

It's strange that Godfred Dame is depending on some letters of former NDC Health Ministers.
There's no single letter from his former boss Gloria Akkufo,concerning this contract.
According to Jakpa,all the concerns raised by NDC's health Ministers were addressed by the NDC's Attorney General and Minister of Justice in 2016.
Godfred Dame has not disputed this statement from Jakpa and has not proven otherwise.
AG has not given us formal details of how the contract was abrogated.
The whole case seems to me more political than commercial concerns.Tnx.

Here we are talking about International Business Agreement.
Namely,the contract is between the state and Big Sea.Those who represented the State are the Attorney-General for legal advice,Ministry of Health for the specification,Ministry of Finance for LC and Bank of Ghana for payment.
Besides you have the Cabinet Ministers and Committee of Health who are all responsible and played a crucial role in signing the contract.
Are you not surprised that only Ato Forson and Jakpa are facing trail?
I'm not a lawyer but as a businessman,I think the contract was not well drafted in relation to the specification.
When you are going into a big International deal you try to avoid surprises.Therefore,you take the necessary steps to follow the process. This is the reason why you do "inspection" before shipment.
On this note,I have not heard how the inspection was carried out.
That was a gross negligence on behalf of the state.Who are you going to blame now for your mistake?
By the way,what was the final legal advice given by AG in 2016 before leaving office?
If we take this case to the International Abitration,am afraid we'll surely pay huge Judgement Debt to Big Sea.Mark it on the wall.
