Irrespective of the external factors confronting nations, our problems in Ghana are self inflicted and we will not buy into the narrative that Covid 19 is the most responsible. If you have an old man president flying in chartered jets and his appointees suddenly flying in business class at the least opportunity has greatly contributed to this mess. We have this UP descendants claiming Kufour brought national health insurance, Nana Addo brought free senior high and all that, but they forgot to tell us which facilities to seek medical care. At least the NDC government has added regional hospitals and universities to contain the masses. Can anyone point to one regional hospital built by the criminal NPP party? In their shallow minds, the hospitals built by Nkrumah are enough to take care of all Ghanaians irrespective of the population size.

Do I need to tell this Shamima Muslim, that there has never been a good time in Ghana since Independence. She should go back to Nkrumah's era and listen to the cries of Ghanaians then. She should then follow it through to all the former Head of States and Presidents up to the current President. The cries have been the same. How was the socio-economic situation of Ghana like between 2001 and 2008? Compare it to the socio-economic situation of Ghana between 2009 and 2016. Any faithful and reasonable person would know that certainly the period 2001 - 2008 was way better than the period 2009 - 2016. So, Madam Shamima, be reasonable and analytical a bit. I do not know how old are you, but I would like to tell you that not all Ghanaians have short memories, people.
