It is the fishing trawlers that need to be banned. They are the ones depleting our fish stocks with their greedy practices. If they are banned, there would be no need for a closed season. Local fishermen are even suffering because of these fishing trawlers who sell their catch on the high seas and even send most outside our borders. What benefits do foreign owned fishing trawlers bring this country apart from enriching a few corrupt individuals?
