  Good call. The military and other security agencies should be the domain for self motivated people with the natural calling of discipline,bravery and intelligence. Not the dumping ground for relatives of Generals, politicians and the well connected who want stable employment for their wards by all means. Weaklings are weaklings. No amount of military training can instill bravery into anybody. It would only take a situation to expose how weak some (if not the bulk of our soldiers) are. The timing of the veeps call is too late in the day and would be safely interpreted as political inducing talk but it ought to be given the attention it deserves.
