  I appreciate the concerns that successive govts, including the NDC, haven't been able to establish a single modern factory to turn the abundant clay deposits in the VR into a major industry producing all kinds of ceramic and building products, e.g., shingles for roofing, WCs, bricks, etc., with a ceramics school attached. What we saw in the video is still artisanal in nature. The govts alone shouldn't be blamed but the so-called educated people from the VR, and the rest of Ghana, from whom the leaders come must be placed on the Bunsen burner and roasted. After all, you all heard that the people at Vume are from Denkyira origins, so our kinsmen the Akans must also show some concern. It's not entirely true that they are all Akan origins though, as the Denkyira fugitves simply joined the Ewes (and others) who were already living in those areas and they intermarried and became the Tongu people. The Denkyiras only came in 1700 (not 1600), when Ntim Gyakari was defeated by his rebellious subjects. And pot making was going on in the VR long befoe even the Ewes moved in, as archaelogical remains we called "sokpe" showed. The Denkyiras didn't bring the art to those they met, they no doubt added their own skills. What were they using to cook with then before the fugitives arrived in 1700?
