The Prof's observations are spot on. I've been saying the same thing for some time now. Money for entertainment falls very low down the budget ladder. And when people cannot afford 3 square meals a day, cannot pay utility bills, cannot pay for basic expenses etc, Charlie how can one have extra cash for beer etc to cool off after a hard day's work. Every entertainment joint is suffering and I'll be glad to see the results of a study on low patronage of pubs, cinemas, discos, restaurants, and other entertainment services.

Don't be disingenuous, Professor. Don't you see Bawumia has digitalised everything in Ghana including how we eat and drink? He will soon launch digital copulation for husbands and wives. For want of better description, this is a clear performance deviation from his scholary aptitude he and party boasted of to hoodwink most of us while they were in opposition.

Haba ! Listen to what this Al Quaida professor is saying. Doesn’t he know that most people today have come to realize the dangerous side effects of alcohol? Alcohol account for more than half of liver disease, diabetes, family breakdown, road and other accidents? Kobby Mensa, if you and your John Mahama don’t have any convincing message and policies to tell Ghanaians then simply shut up and stop this infantile commentaries.

It's a microchosom of the general trend in the hospitality industry. Even Kofi Brokeman (roasted plantains) sellers are not spared the economic crunch brought upon us by this wicked and insensitive Akufo-Addo-Bawuliar NPP administration. But I thought a bunch was selling at ¢5 some few years ago, according to the then Agric minister? And what are people disagreeing with the Prof's pub analogy? For God's sake, this is a political marketing strategist for crying out loud. He knows his stuff, unlike some E-mpty failed Economist I know. Fix the damn economy ooo tom!!!

prof observation maybe be correct but don't you think that there are more spots these days with better facility and services in the area as compared previously which may have contributed to the drop in patronage.

In fact, common sense is common but not common to common people like Kobby Mensah.
