Hmmmm, this letter was a follow up of a meeting between the Asantehene and Akufo Addo after the latter won the 2016 election. The King did that to promote harmony during the transition period. It was the transition team from the NPP side that told Mahama to present his choices of facilities for both accommodation cum office to be agreed on. Hence the response we see being circulated by wicked minds today to portray poor JDM as a selfish and greedy fellow. We all know afterwards that the government threw all those arrangements somewhere and reneged on thier promises to the Asantehene and JDM even though this is mandatory by our constitution. If Ghanaians feel strongly about this arrangements, then we must agitate strongly for their removal from our constitution. As it stands now, it's part and parcel of the retiring benefits of our President's.
