Bright, are you saying that, even without reading Mahama's policy and with your level of education and knowledge and experience and exposure, you lack a proper understanding of this nation's destiny changing policy? A simple read of economics 101 will make you overstand completely this wonderful policy. Garnish that with a simple trip to New York, London, Singapore, Guangzhou, and other major World cities with the sole aim of experiencing how a 24-hour economy works and you'll come back with a bouquet of flowers for John Mahama and a garland over his neck.

24hrs economy is an Aspiration or a Wishful Thinking by John Mahama.It is so broad and difficult to attain in 4yrs. Our poor public transport,poor housing for the working class,lack of security etc cannot support that policy.

The simple fact is whatever it is cannot materialize without the concomitant increases in supply of the goods or services provided and the ability of the user or purchaser to afford such. The physical and other infrastructure to actualize this ‘policy’ and the necessary upward shifts in the purchasing power of the average Ghanaian worker remain a pipe-dream. A classic case of putting the ‘cart before the horse’.

The 24hr economy is the only solution for not Ghana alone but Africa as a whole. Unemployment which is the headache of all developing countries will be a thin of the past. Kudos John Dramani Mahama.
Now 24hr economy if takeoff will bring a very strong competition among Africa, the east and the west.

The TUC has a bevy of technocrats and intellectuals who digested the 24hr economy policy of the NDC and Christened it "a game- changer" so does my dear Simons wants to pooh- pooh the stance of the entire TUC? Economy runs 24-hour when demand and supply goes hand in hand. No government can force any company to work around the clock just support a stupid none working policy.
