It is only at KIA that you are asked about your boarding pass after you have disembarked from the aircraft and processing for the immigration checks. Your passport is also inspected about 5 times before you exit the airport upon arrival. The human contact you make at KIA is just too much because people are looking for ways and means to extort money from travellers. I'm happy management has pledged to deal with it.

What are others doing right and are lacking in Ghana?to blame it on non travelers passengers is pathetic. Are total strangers popping up to steal baggage?what internal measures are in place to ensure that workers in charge do not pilfer items?are they cameras and who handles these unaccompanied bags? These are simple questions for the supervisors. Ghana can do better than this

This advice must be directed towards the uniformed goro boys in the arrival and departure halls as well. You see all sorts and manner immigration, customs, military etc, off duty or those on duty to include even staffs from Port Health, ununiformed persons abusing their tags just to escort passengers etc. It’s an eyesore seeing them remove bags from the conveyor belts just to get tips and favor. In the age of time, why can’t GCAL provide escort services to the needed ones and sanction these goro boys not to even venture near passengers. It’s soo provocative. The authority some of them even have to request to see your passport outside the check zones beats my mind.
