  there are people who seek law degrees but would never practise law- eg is me
  
  2. there are people who has PHDs in Accountancy but will never seek jobs in that field.
  the list could goes on and on
  
  the important lesson here is- some people seek knowledge to equip themselves , to get more understandings in their sphere of personal or family protection but not for materialism.
  that is why I agree with Randy - that
  if you look at backgrounds of people who think like this crap, you could see poverty. so such a persons interest in life is just do anything to survive.
  if you come here in Europe or goes to USA- are there not many poor people there ?
  why do their government still take the taxpayers money and donate to other countries ? instead of giving it to the poor to become Rich ?

  The reality and opinion of the minister or MMCE or DCE
  is different from what the people need.
  it is high time The people wake up and ask for their legitimate rights , their benefits as a citizen Of GHANA
  here in Europ
  why is it that any little thing a Ghanaian would deem it as normal becomes a big issue in the Media circle or in the government circles ? it is all because the citizens are raising their opinion to force it on the Government to make their opinion a Reality of the Government.
  why do some countries have free Visa for their citizens to other countries but not all countries ?
  it tell you that some citizens raise the opinion to force the government to sign an MOU with some countries so that their citizens could at least travel with free visa for at least a month and vis.versa
  $
  this brought the reality for the government to announce it intentions with
  1 conditions- that if you are given a free visa ,when you visit that country you must return so that the confidence could grow for other citizens of your country.$
  I want to ask
  how many Ghanaians would return if you are given a free Visa to USA our UK ? but the UK or the USA citizen would return to his country just to make sure that the MOU his government has signed won't be I jeopardy .
  if we set our priorities Rights as a country
  nobody would compare Ghana to such cheap things.
  
  I give that boy only 20 or 30 years , he would regret for denouncing his Ghana passport.
  Ghana migration should take a big note of this-
  That if you denounce Ghana as your country of birth, you won't get Ghana passport back

You dont meed mich money to school or seek health care. The poverty rare there is lower. uou said their govt give aid nut you forget its kot free lunch.
  When they give the so call aid
  1. They insist you use contractor's from thrir country
  2. Buy goods, drugs etc from them
  3. They channel that aid through ngo from their country.
  So while they have technically given you aid, almost all the money goes back to that country in the form of employment for it's nationals, and the purchase goods and services.
  They also use it as leverage to rip us off our resources or stop us from getting better contracts from rival nations.
  Its true when he makes money, he woll wish je was in ghana bit that will be only after he's made money. Without the money je wont want ghana.
  You also seem to believe phd means knowledge which is mot necessarily so. The emphasis is on the PhD thesis after the masters degree sonin terms of knowledge there is not much difference between a PhD and and mphil holder. Also note some phd are purely by research so no additional course work after masters. You attend seminars and read papers. I dont need a PhD to read papers or conduct good research. Pjd is mot always about knowledge. Besides thst knowledge is in a very narrow area.
  You can't tell me also that money is not issue. Even bill Gates son needs to make more money so if he does PhD je expects to make kore money. Why are our lecturers jot content with their salaries? Most did the ohd in order to teach and make money.
  Thats why you see so many profs accepting to be heads of state agencies jot related to their area of expertise. PhD wont pay the bills. Money will.
  Uou cant be successful in any venture without being very knowledgeable and intelligent in that area. The lack of a formal degree shouldn't and cannot take that away from you

Now let come to your passport , how many countries can you use those 2 by 4 PhDs especially those from uds, winneba, gimpa to access. As for legon PhD is a little bit standard and so is knust and ucc but for the rest dieer they are borla, I bet you those having those PhD is a crap. One thing you must note is that kofi gabs didn't say PhD from England or UK or America or even south Africa but was specific about Ghana, yes Ghana who is abound with poor intellectuals whose only skills is to go on strike for just common research allowance which is only 200 Ghana cedis , tells you a PhD from Ghana in indeed worthless and it is a disgrace to have one. This is the bitter truth. PhD outside Ghana are far far better and superior to the lazy and miopic academia that keep churning out those rubbishes called PhDs especially winneba and gimpa. Very SAD.

Dr. Randy Abbey's PhD from NIBS will not even qualify for an MA thesis even from some Ghanaian Universities. NIBS has become a cheap avenue for politicians and degree thirsty CEOs and media practioners to obtain cheap PhDs. Kindly ask all NIBS PhD holders to publish their theses online, and the quality will not match a long essay in some universities.

We must admit most of the corrupt, mismanagement and bad politics, loot , stealing going on in our public services, department and agencies are committed by well educated citizens. So if appears in Ghana people acquire just to cheat their fellow less privilege in society.

  if you appoint family and friends to form a government , and the government failed in it policies , does it mean that the PHD holders are not impacting on the development of this country ?
  appointing somebody like Ernest Owusu Bempa as the PRO of Ghana Gas- just ask yourself what are his qualification to hold that position. such a fool was appointed to GH gas because he insulted people who hold different views against Akuffu Addo. so if such a person could not deliver, does it mean that we don't have intellects in Ghana who could do that job perfectly ?
  
  our problem in this country is the politics of deceptions
  the winner takes all scenarios .
  when the Free SHS policy was enrolling, academics to the Government to do more engagements before rolling out the policy- did the government listen ? NO
  
  so what have to voice out as a country is that
  let us use our intellectuals , let us engage our universities to define a roadmap for the youth, for the job opportunities, and the benefits of our rich mineral resources in this country.
  There is a disconnect between our school, universities and the government policies.
  JOB opportunities must be created but must not be gifted.
