Didn’t we hear the NDC criminal leaders accusing the Akufo-Addo administration of locking up those medical supplies? So it turned out that the government had no hands in holding up the supply. Ghanaians and for that matter the the beneficiaries of the supply under discussion should blame their predicament on John Mahama, should blame the Cribo kingpin solely for such wicked acts ! That explains why the NDC has paid their foreign agents to hack my phone. And as I’m writing this comments right now I’m sitting at the Apple Store at 5th Avenue and 59st in New York, New York at midnight for investigations to be conducted on the issue. But I know the culprits would be fished out. It’s only when I go to Ghanaweb comments portal that the perpetrators infects my phone with pop ups to prevent me from writing and posting my comments. A private investor built the MPS on build and operate agreement (That is the smart way to go to get investors to invest in our infrastructure). What import duty? Even if you pay the import duties, you still have to pay the port charges. The port charges has a 30 days grace and if you are not able to clear your goods in 30 days, the demurrage charges would be added to your charges. In Ghana, the harbor charges $ 90 + taxes on each container every day after the 26 days grace period expires. During the COVID, most importers including my humble self had our containers attract serious demurrage charges. I have a court case pending at Tema High Court because of similar issues. I sued the shipping line after they held on to my container for more than 90 days.

Funds just released by Ministry of Finance are even meant for demurrages which is cost for not clearing containers within port approved time window.
