Any time I hear or read our so called economists who are described as renowned, give presentations I wonder where they are coming from. Too much produce more, export more, more of this or more of that. I get sick. As a nation we do not have a comprehensive national economic model that will guide our decisions. All these experts are either using theories that do not suit our economic behaviors as a nation in the way we understand and go about our businesses. India developed it's economic models and we are seeing their growth, Uganda developed their economic model and we see their strength for now. Ghana we do not have. I will dare these so called self acclaimed experts to look in this direction. Develop a national economic model with the flexibility and sensitivities to respond to external changes instead always telling us the same thing from theories in books, periodicals and papers. All these are useless waste of time because they do not match our economic dynamics. Let's sit and work tirelessly to perfect our system and model it appropriately to guide our economic actions. This my little opinion.
