  A lot depends on your immigration status. Assuming that you have your papers (ie you are not an illegal immigrant) then with hard work careful planning living frugally you can study to improve your skills. For example you may have to study something else completely different to your musical background at least in the initial stages so that you can earn enough and save enough over some years before you can really relaunch your musical career. You may even have to abandon your first choice of vocation- this happens to immigrants all the time. BUT EVERYTHING REALLY DEPENDS ON YOUR IMMIGRATION STATUS. Living illegally in the UK or most Western countries will automatically cut you off from many possible career opportunities as well as access to important public services and amenities. Also the general economic climate in Europe as well as in the UK has worsened significantly over the last 5-7 years. The soaring cost of living makes it extremely challenging for even legal immigrants to survive let alone thrive and prosper in the West, particularly in Europe.
  Also the growing threat of catastrophic war in Europe is something all aspiring immigrants now need to take into consideration- THE RISK IS REAL AND IT IS GROWING.
  The streets of London, Paris, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Rome, Stockholm etc are not paved with gold and folks need to remember this.
