  KB, that was exactly my thinking when I read the article. In 2022, you overprinted paper into the economy resulting in inflation hitting almost 60%. This resulted in massive depreciation of the cedi. Then turn around to buy dollars to sour up your foreign balance of payment at a loss of almost 1 billion dollars and come on TV to speak big English to confuse the unlearned. FOCK OFF.

  Inflation at 24-25% is twice as high as the BoG’s mandate. With all this costly open market activities, the BoG’s balance sheet is weak and the FX rate is indicating lack of confidence in the BoG.
