  So what exactly is the university going to do with a helicopter. For those who understand tax avoidance or tax evation on this occasion, we can see that the company is arranging it's affairs to gain a tax advantage. The rules say they must remove the equipment from the country after usage in order to get the tax exemption but when they factor in transport cost plus residual value of the helicopter they find it cheaper to gift it. The asset no longer qualifies for the tax waiver so the company must pay the taxes. If the mining company takes back the helicopter it would in my opinion prove a possible tax evation scheme therefore criminal
