Dede's presence will only cause upheavals and tumult in camp. Otto Addo is very right on this call. Dede at a point was definitely going to retire and this is the time.

Just recently in an interview I was not surprised when one of the young stars in the team mentioned Dede as his idol.

We're all Ghanaians and want success for the BS so it must be a concern the way players are handled in the National team. Most of you making all these noises have never seen the BS won anything yet you guys make so much noises why? I was in my final year when BS won their last Afcon in Libya with an all local BS squad. In those days no from player playing outside the local league was considered good enough for the BS. In fact George Alhassan who then plays in the UAE had to return to Great Olympics to have a look in into the BS and so the commitment was big. The reverse is the case now and for as long as the local players are over looked for their so-called European based BS will struggle in most International games. If we had used local players for those friendlies last year against US and Mexico we wouldn't have lost both games scandalously as it happened. In 1983 or '84 BS defeated US 5-0 in the King Fhad cup which today has become the Intercontinental football games for Continental champions.
In that was Abdul Aziz, Anas Seidu, Robert Hammond and many others all local boys mainly from Hearts, Kotoko and Great Olympics.
All the noises about Dede and all won't win us anything at the end....
