1. The fulani tribal situation
2. The Islamic factor
3. The ritual murders
4. The kidnapping factor
5. The armed robberies

Yet, you have people coming to Ghana, don't you, so what's your argument really?

Again, there are at least a million Ghanaian nationals living, working, and doing brisk business in Nigeria, not to mention other foreign nationals. Plus some businesses who've recently relocated their operations from Ghana to Nigeria. So again I ask, what is your argument?

There are several reported incidents of various crimes involving your countrymen both home and abroad, even on this same platform; when that happens, you lot then reduce the argument to which tribe the person hails from, and which tribe is more criminal-minded than the other. It's really no surprise that you choose to pick on isolated reports and/or incidents of crime and try to engage in finger pointing with regards to Nigeria. Oh well, if that helps you sleep better at night, by all means, be my guest.

You see, this is exactly my problem with some of you. Everything you and most of the other commentators on here have said pertains in both our nations. Both are plagued with the very same evil. See, in all honesty, as far as I'm concerned, there's only one difference between the average Nigerian and the average Ghanaian -- hypocrisy! And I don't mean this in a derogatory manner; just stating the fact. The average Ghanaian acts as though everyone else has a problem but them, and would rather prefer to pretend that this is indeed the case. And I can say this with certainty because I have lived in both Nigeria and Ghana for at least 2 decades (for each country).

First of all, no one has said anything about Nigeria being better than Ghana or vice versa -- only shallow minds engage in such comparisons. What I (like so many sane minds) try to get some of you to appreciate is that, there is good and evil everywhere. Crime has no race or nationality; a criminal is a criminal, period. Any and every evil the likes of you and your ilk point to with reference to Nigeria and/or Nigerians is equally prevalent in Ghana. Ghanaians the world over are engaged in one form of crime or the other on a grand scale. If it makes no sense to brand the entire country based on the actions of those criminals, why should it makes sense to do so for Nigeria?

If you must know (though it's none of your damn business), the only reason I still remain here is because my wife of nearly 20 years who's a Ghanaian can't, or rather won't, leave her public service job. I have personally been defrauded by a Ghanaian criminal in excess of USD 20,000 but you don't see me labeling you all as fraudsters.

But ask yourself if it was the UN General Assembly that met at a UN session and IMPOSED that criminality label on Nigeria, or it was as a result of the CONSISTENT COLLECTIVE LAWLESS activities by Nigerian nationals? For example it is a well known FACT that Kenyans are notorious of LONG DISTANT MARATHON, but does it MEAN there are no marathons runners in the world besides Kenyans? Yes, of course, there are, but Kenyans are WELL NOTED in that sense!!! I think you have a gigantic job to do, trying to DEFEND this international dent on Nigeria. The FACT that you are a Nigerian does not make it obligatory to defend Nigeria at all cost!! Instead, you must rather admit the FACT, condemn it, and then seek a remedy, and in seeking the remedy, even Ghanaians (as Africans, and because these things sometimes affect ALL AFRICANS), would even help you find the solution. So, as per your argument, Nigerian and Nigerians deserve to be branded as criminals because, according to you, there's been so many recorded incidents of Nigerian nationals being involved in crime across the globe; however, despite the daily reports of Ghanaians involved in several forms of crime ranging from fraud to money laundering, and murder both home and abroad, Ghana and Ghanaians in general remain saints and peaceful people? You can't be bothered that your country is competing very strongly in crime statistics with a country that is 10 times your population?

You're going on and on about nobody asking the Nigerian businesses to setup in Ghana and that they come only because of profit? But being the negative-minded person you are, you wilfully choose to ignore the hundreds of thousands of jobs these businesses have created, and the individuals whose lives and livelihoods depend on the salaries they draw from such businesses on a monthly basis? Such a lame, defeatist argument can only generate from a jaundiced and highly prejudiced mind, and isn't worth engaging at all because as I have stated severally, prejudice has no cure.

This sort of reasoning is emblematic of the mindset I've been addressing in all my comments here. Like I said, you're more than welcome to keep your head buried in the sand and continue living in the eldorado that only exists in your mind. The world will continue spinning with or without you.
