If not in ghana where else can you start a landed project before having full access to the land on which the project is to be executed? But because these are political, rather than economic, projects the government pushes the contractor to start something whilst they work on the legal aspects of it, just to score political points. The contractor mostly destroys people's business by way of blockade, with little deceptive compensation with the promise of topping up shortly, or no compensation at all. Otherwise, how can you say that you are not able to speed up the project because of lawa suits and compensations etc. Isn't that legal aspect the first thing to tackle before commencement of work? So you ask what kind of people we have as leaders. Stupidity at the highest level.

What the engineers are saying is not true. Since when did they cover the potholes. The interviewers must go on the road before they publish the lies from contractors.
At least the road must be motorable

Yes, sheer lies by the these people. The road is in a deplorable state with massive potholes & water everywhere when it rains. Vehicles are been damaged daily trying to ply that road. At least a considerate contractor will put some asphalt on some parts of the road to make it motorable and also minimise the dust storms created by vehicles till they are ready to resurface the road finally. That contractor is only thinking of his profit and not about Ghanaians suffering from his bad work.
This is a ruse. SIKA NO ASA.
